Return Policies

Refund General Policy 

•  We ask you retain your receipt to ensure a speedy return. We require proof of purchase for any returned item.   
• Refunds will be issued in the same manner payment was originally made within 30 days of original purchase.  
• All sale or clearance items are final and sold as-is.  
• Opened product will not be accepted for return unless determined faulty by staff. Please see manufacturer’s warranty on product packaging for product warranty information. 

Garden Center & Storefront 

Plant Material 

• Plant material can be returned or exchanged 7 days from purchase. All plant material MUST remain in original pot, original condition, and will be inspected to ensure no new pests or diseases are introduced to the facility.  
•  Plant material will not be held for any other reason than a curbside pickup. 
• Special ordered plant material must be picked up within a week of delivery to the garden center. There is a 20% fee for all special ordered plant material, and a 50% deposit is required upon order date.
• Plant material is not guaranteed once it leaves our care. Our staff work hard to keep all plant material free of any pests or diseases. Once a plant leaves our staff’s care, we cannot control damage or loss caused by insects, diseases, animals, weather, or neglect. Please carefully read and follow the care instructions provided by each plant’s associated tag.
• Garden supplies (fertilizers, soil amendments, etc.) may be returned within 30 days if it remains unopened and in its original condition. 

Landscape Supplies 

Palletized Stone 

• There is no implied guarantee of color, texture, etc. With regards to our natural stones, concrete products and rocks due to their inherent qualities. York Woods Tree is not responsible for these variances. 
• Stone is a naturally irregular product therefore there may be some smaller pieces on a pallet. These small pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. 
• York Woods Tree & Products will accept returns of un-opened pallets. Pallets that have been opened or picked through are not eligible for return or exchange. 

Bulk Products 

• Our estimating/ material calculating is provided as a free service. When we provide an estimate, it is to the best of our abilities. It is the customers' responsibility to verify estimate amounts before ordering. Yards and material needs are averaged to the best of our ability and there will be some variations for which we cannot be responsible.  
• If an order for the incorrect material is placed there is a standard 20% restocking fee. 
• If you ordered the incorrect material, and it is loaded into your vehicle and you wish to exchange the material as long as the material is clean and has not left the vehicle exchange can be made. Price differences will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Material must be inspected by York Woods Tree staff. 

Delivery 

• All delivery fees are non-refundable.  
• A notice of at least 24 hours must be given to cancel a delivery. 
• Any shortages, damages or product problems of any kind must be noted upon delivery or brought to the attention of York Woods Tree & Products staff within 24 hours of delivery.

Firewood 

• Firewood is loaded “loose” by the 27 cubic foot bucket. This equals roughly ½ cord. If there are any issues with quantities of firewood it must be addressed within 10 days of delivery.
