Voting runs from 10am to 2:30pm. Winner announced at 3pm. Beekeepers, you do not have to be present to win.

Extra proceeds from the tasting are donated to the YCBA.

Live Demo & Speakers

Honeybee Day will feature live demonstrations from the York County Beekeepers Association (YCBA) along with a guest speaker (TBA) sharing insights into beekeeping, pollinator health, and how our community can support honeybees. Stop by throughout the day to learn from local experts, ask questions, and deepen your understanding of these vital pollinators.

Live Hive Frame

Presented by the York County Beekeepers Association (YCBA), this is your chance to explore a live hive frame and gain insights into the fascinating world of beekeeping. Learn about the vital role bees play in our ecosystems, how hives are maintained, and the process of honey production. If you're lucky enough to spot the queen bee among the hive, you'll receive a special sticker to mark the achievement. It’s an educational and fun experience for all ages!

Craft Fair

Join us for our Annual Summer Craft Market at Honeybee Day! Explore a variety of handmade goods from local artisans while celebrating the importance of bees and pollinators. It’s the perfect day to shop unique crafts, learn about beekeeping, and enjoy fun activities for the whole family. Don’t miss out on this sweet event!
